What if we aren’t comfortable in front of the camera?

No one feels immediately comfortable in front of the camera. Don’t worry, we’ll ease into things. When choosing a session location, pick something that feels most like you. Hiking a mountain and enjoying beers at the top? Taking a dip in a waterfall? Relaxing at home? Picnicking in a field? Hanging at a local coffee shop? We’re here to capture your relationship. Our style captures movement and connection. We’re happy to gently guide you and crack jokes with you.

Dress for comfort and for the landscape. Don’t expect to hike a mountain in heels. You can always bring a change of clothes if need-be. Neutral colors photograph best. Think about complimenting outfits, not matching with your partner. Feel free to text us pictures if you’re having trouble deciding between outfits!

What should we wear for our engagement session?

Absolutely. We are here for you and will help you figure out a timeline that feels right. A few things we consider: where you’re getting ready, first look, travel time, ceremony length, your group photo needs, and golden hour.

Can you help us with our wedding timeline?

Should we do a first look?

Our vote is almost always yes, but, it is totally up to you!

When can we expect to see the photos? / How many photos will you take?

We send out a preview two weeks of your wedding and a full gallery approximately 8 to 10 weeks after. If you want a shot or two for social media within 24hrs, we’ll add this to your package.

We want to elope/ have a destination wedding-- will you help us choose the location?

YES. YES. YES. We’ll ask you some questions and to help you narrow down your search to a particular region. We can give suggestions of various countries and then cities/ towns that fit your vibe. Once you choose a place that feels right, we’ll help research and/ or show up a few days before and location scout.

Do you charge travel fees?

While we love to travel, we do have to take the costs into account. All of our wedding collections include 50 miles of travel, and we charge 50 cents per mile driven beyond that. If we need to book a flight and accommodation to cover your wedding, we'll be glad to do some research and let you know what we'll need when you book!

Do you do destination photoshoots (family vacations, honeymoons, etc.)?

Absolutely! Reach out and we’ll see if we can make it work.

How do I get my wedding published in wedding magazines?

If you want your wedding published then let’s start a conversation. There are some tips & tricks to getting published and it usually starts at the planning phase.

Do you offer any discounts on weekday weddings or weddings during the off-season?

Let us know your budget and wedding plans! We’ll do our best to work with you within your budget.

What if we need to postpone our wedding or cancel it completely?

We got married in 2020 so we see the situation from both sides and try to be as fair and reasonable as possible while keeping our business afloat. Our retainer fee is non-refundable if there is a cancellation but we will apply your balance to future sessions. If you need to postpone, we get it (we’ve been there), please reach out as soon as possible so we can figure out a new date. Communication is key. If you do not keep us in the loop and reschedule without talking to us, we cannot guarantee availability. We want it to work for you and we’ll happily share our available dates.

Yes! We always take note of great vendors and we’ll happily send along a list of people we trust.
